Huge potholes at the side of the whole road, 29th April
There are potholes at the side of this road all the way up and down, the main problem is the road is narrow and two cars have trouble passing but with the very large potholes and road coming away it the sides if you stop for a car to get past you could very probably get your car stuck in the very deep holes and at night these would be very dangerous especially for motorcycles it could even kill them, you would need to drive slowly up there to check them all out as there are many of them both sides of the road but as far as I can see they are worse going up the road

Holes and extremely poor surface, 29th January
Almost the entire length of this well-used road is full of holes and bad surface in the extreme; certainly between fair oak farm and beggars bush kennels; very dangerous for two wheeled riders and equestrians; highlights the folly of surface dressing minor roads

Potholes and very poor surface., 13th September
There are many holes and broken surface all along Spithandle from approx Guesses Farm in the west to approx Beggars Bush Kennels in the east. Due to the cover of the trees in dappled light, it is all difficult to see. This creates potential danger mostly to equestrians which use this lane regularly and to cyclists.
