Flooding on carriageway, 3rd May
A259 South Way, Newhaven, East Sussex. Flooding on right hand carriageway in one-way town centre bypass. At light controlled pedestrian crossing to Quayside. Has been an issue for several weeks. On the basis of where there is a puddle there is the likelihood of a pothole... Where it is a big puddle, the potential is for a big pothole. I and other drivers use the left hand lane them criss over to the right hand lane when passed the water leak issue. Thus restricting the dual carriageway. This water leak appeared when a new block of apartments were being built a few months ago in the vicinity and may be the cause for the water leak from the drainage system on this section of the A259 dual carriageway.

Dumping of caravan, 8th April
On my walk at the weekend I noticed that someone has dumped a caravan and pushed the concrete boulders backwards giving access to anyone that wants possibly to dump even more stuff, and if you drive further down to the roundabout all the concrete boulders have been pushed back, no idea how they managed to move them heavy things, but I reckon it’s been done ready to fly tip later, just my opinion though, thanks Andy
