Faulty speed camera, 6th February
I was travelling towards Shipley/Saltaire/Skipton from Bradford along Manningham Lane today (BD8) 06.02.2024 between 15:30 and 15:50 and a speed camera flashed between my vehicle which was behind a post office van, so no vehicle was on the lines, and there were no vehicles travelling the opposite way. Myself and the post office vehicle were doing less than 20 mph if not less than 10mph because of traffic and as I said there were no cars travelling the opposite way. I’m concerned the camera is faulty and will pick me up as speeding which wasn’t the case at all because of traffic, but also because there were no other vehicles travelling over the speed monitoring lines when it flashed. I have dash cam footage of required.

Driver not parked in middle of disabled bay, 6th February
The driver of the red Toyota is engaging in a form of harassment by parking in a way that is inconsiderate to others. She deliberately parks behind her bay, which is already 150% bigger than the standard size, to prevent other road users from using the bay behind her car. This makes it difficult for other vehicles to get out and causes unnecessary inconvenience and frustration. This has prevented me on many occasions from being able to use my car and having to use alternative from of transport. This has caused me to be late to work on a number of occasions. I feel harrassed and i should be allowed to park here but the red Toyota driver feels we aren't allowed to park here and only her daughter can park here. Her disabled bay is too big for her car. Other disabled bays in the area are only a car’s length, but hers exceeds her car by over 50%. She has already requested the bin to be removed from her bay, yet she still doesn’t park in the middle. This shows that she is not respecting the rules and the rights of other people. I request the council to take action against this driver and ensure fair and respectful parking for everyone.

No One Way / No Entry Sign on Grattan Road, Bradford near roundabout and traffic light signal, 30th January
There are two roads parallel to each other and both are called Grattan Road therefore are considered one street. They lie on different heights and are narrow single lane roads. They act like a normal street as they start and end in the same position.
My problem is one of the streets is a one way system and the other is not. One street has a one way sign and a no entry sign on the respective ends of the road. The other road however (the one that sits lower) does not. It currently acts as a two way street but has limited space for two cars to pass with street parking and many blind spots when entering this street - this of course is impractical and dangerous as I and many others have had near head-on collisions.
As the other road is a one way, you would assume it's accompanying road next to it is for the opposing direction to allow traffic to move. On google maps, it does currently state they are both one ways but in reality, there is not a road sign to state this and so two way traffic commences causing congestion and dangerous reverse actions on a mini roundabout to allow cars to move. Also, if both roads act in the same direction, it causes issues when entering the roadabout as both lanes are unable to see each other and may enter the roundabout simultaneously.
I kindly ask that a one way sign and no entry sign also be placed on the other road to allow Grattan road to be as intended. Thank you.
