Rotten Heavily loaded signpost, 27th April
Sign post bearing four signs including a "No motorised vehicles sign" on Overshores Road past the houses as it drops down to Entwistle Reservoir.
The post is heavily corroded at the bottom to the point at which it is holed.
Signs appear new and in good condition (can't believe the post wasn't inspected) so just needs a new post installing before the weight and windage of all these signs cause it to fall into someone's head.

A very large pothole has developed spreading almost over the whole half of the carriageway as you leave EDGWORTH travelling towards Darwen. To avoid it traffic must go onto the other side of the road against oncoming traffic which is highly dangerous as there is no visibility of approaching vehicles

Tyre bursting pot holes, 7th February
This stretch of road is littered with Hugh pot holes. It is impossible to avoid them without having to go onto the wrong side of the road which is dangerous as there is a bend in the road whereby you can't see if there is oncoming traffic. You cannot see how deep the holes are if it has rained as they fill with water. Anybody without the local knowledge is in danger of burst tyres at least and suspension problems or collision at worst. Beware!
