Series of potholes, 3rd February
Yet again a series of large deep potholes in and around the hump between ridgmont drive and braithwaite. causing damage to cars and danger to pedestrians. as well as noise of vehicles thumping over them !!!! there is now another large deep pothole just between ridgmont drive and barncroft on new chapel lane on/at the metal drain cover, this is also getting worse by the day. IF you get your act together while new chapel lane is closed 5/2 to 14/2/24 it will give you chance to make a decent long lasting repair /re surface, or take the hump out altogether. it would save money in the long term than these series of botched patches. please please take action

Mud being draped from the farm causing a hazard, 11th October
There is an excess of mud from a series of tractor visits which have led to the road becoming dangerously slippy when driving, This is on a slight bend on a tree lined 50mph limit road. The tractors are collecting / dropping off from a nearby farm and I believe following 3 collisions on the road near the other farm, that road (Beumont Road) has been closed for a number of days - I nearly came off my motorbike at 15mph last night and the tractors have continued adding mud today and are still operating.

Series of potholes, 4th October
Series of potholes from Ridgmont drive to higher barn. the road in dreadful condition yet again, it is always bad. never gets properly fixed, Now getting worse by the day. traffic including HGV vehicles over 7.5ton restriction and cars, vans with trailers often speeding over the hump and potholes, thumping, bumping and rattling, exceeding the speed limit. down new chapel lane. causing noise pollution. It is way past time this hump was removed, as it does not stop speeding. The one just before the chapel also a narrow part of the lane, was removed some time ago and the road does not get broken up on a regular basis as this section. It would be a far more cost effective solution.

Step has been damaged by landscapers, 24th August
This step has once again been dislodged by the grass cutters. This is an original step that has been there for 70 years. We have a sloping grass verge and this step is to get down to the road. Your grass cutters just drive over it, dislodge it and don’t think to replace it. It is dangerous. It is situated between 108-110 Lightbounds road. Is someone was to step on this and it tipped over there could be a very serious accident.

Series of bumps at speed hump, 20th September
Please can the so called speed hump between Ridgmont drive and higher Barn/Latham row be re made into a hump, rather than a series of bumps and hollows that it has become. Previous attempt of patching have not rectified the problem, it is worse than ever, It is causing problems with excessive noise, thumping, juddering especially when large vehicles over 7.5 ton use this restricted weight road. It causes car damage, ie wheel alignment and punctures in this very narrow part of the lane. It makes it very difficult / dangerous for people walking up and down the lane there is no footpath, they have to hope they will not be hit by a vehicle or fall over on the very very uneven ground. The alternative suggestion is that it is removed completely. As an aside none of the humps on the whole of New Chapel lane are in very good condition, they could all do with an inspection and work done to rectify the problems before winter comes and make them much worse
