Need 20 mph limit on road through village, 5th March
This village needs a suitable speed limit of max 20 mph we have no pavements in the village ,we have no street lighting in the village ,we have a narrow road. In the village several parts of clitheroe are now 20 mph max and I notice that the London Area within the charging zone is now 20 mph So surely a village with NO pavements or Lighting should be 20 mph MAX

Potholes in middle of road, 4th March
It was "fixed" about 4 weeks ago and has reappeared. Same for the last 3 years - when will a permanent repair be done? Last year a local painted "POT HOLE" in 4 feet high letters on the road as a warning to traffic. This morning, there was a traffic cone in the hole - that will cause even more damage.

Half the road has surface stripped and multiple potholes that are both deep (danger to cyclists and car tyres/wheels) and have deep/sharp edges running the length of the road (yesterday damaged two tyre sidewalls by these edges), 18th April
Its nearly impossible to miss the pot holes especially dangerous since on a bend and cars forced to wrong side of the road. The long edges of the potholes rip the tyre sidewalls as well as the rest of the tyre. Regardless of speed and care taken this type of road neglect is regularly damaging our tyres.

Footpath/Ford, 21st May
At the point marked on the map there should be a ford to cross the River Ribble, it is a very popular route, we had to remove footwear (with a large group of schoolchildren)& wade across, it was 18" deep & very very rough underfoot, this was after a very dry spring so the water level was very low. Could RVBC put some stepping stones similar as the ones on the Hodder at Whitewell or a foot bridge like the one over Skirden Beck near Bolton by Bowland? Skirden Beck is a similar width to the Ribble at the point in question so a bridge is a possible option? (adjacent to a section of The Ribble Way, an important & busy path)
