There are numerous further examples along the road (until the slip road (Grane road exit) but it is unsafe to photograph them amidst fast moving heavy traffic, due to curve of the road and proximity to the slip road near Syke Street Tesco.

Badly uneven & dangerous road surface on A56, 7th April
There are a series of dangerous gaps in road surface / differentials in height along this stretch of the A56 (heading North) between the junction by Tesco (Syke Street) and the exit onto Grane Road (just before the A56 becomes the Haslingden bypass). On changing lanes my car hit one of these points on Saturday 6th April at around 12pm with such force that the steering is likely damaged and wheel likely buckled. Exact damage TBC by mechanic. This is highly dangerous! Not possible to safely stop and take picture of the road surface as there is no hard shoulder and this is a fast road, please fix this as a matter of priority!

Discarded cigarette ends all over the pavement, 18th March
A ongoing problem with discarded cigarette ends all over the pavement outside the Bees Knees public house. I didn’t notice a bin there & obviously the smokers haven’t noticed one too so they discard their used cigarette ends on the pavement. The pavement is ‘dropped’ & therefore not cleaned by the motorised pavement cleaner. It just seems to betting worse

A dog fouling deposit on FP1404201 adjacent to side of 5Alderwood, 12th March
A dog fouling deposit on FP1404201 adjacent to side of 5 Alderwood's fence. It is fresh, deposited in the last few days. This footpath is used regularly by school children. This is a real situation to test to see if there is a system in place dealing with this common practise by a few disrespectful individuals, as I don't believe that there is.

Multiple lights not working, 8th March
A large number of lights around the area have failed hakeing it dark and hard to see. Please don't ignore this problem because it's a busy area making it dangerous if its dark. Please repair this as fast as possible

Pothole -A56 Haslingden Bypass Southbound - single lane section 50mph limit, 4th March
Deep pothole towards left hand side of the outside lane (as the single lane bends right after the Tesco and overhead bridge). Definitely could cause a lot of damage to vehicles. It’s been there at least 2 weeks now. Please can someone inspect and repair.
The other side of the A56 bypass Northbound is no better with multiple shallower potholes and in desperate need of repair, particularly lane 2.

Lots of dangerous pot holes, 16th February
Driving along and my tyre blew damaged another and buckled my alloy on Wednesday 14/02/24 on the A56 1/2 mile away heading towards McDonalds around 2250hrs another car had the same issue. Couldn’t get rescued until the next day. It’s very bad cost me a fortune and a lot of messing. This will kill someone soon it’s that bad

Hole in soft surface on play park, 9th September
I have reported this tear/hole over 2 weeks ago. No action has been taken to fix this repair, therefore the surface has been torn to make a bigger hole. The black soft under lining has now been thrown over the play park this has caused a hazard as it is near the equipment.

Dirt, rubbish on pavement, 10th April
After reading about how Rawtenstall is the place to live! Walked my dogs from Rawtenstall centre home down Bacup Road ( the main highway ) almost into Waterfoot. Wow, certainly not been swept or cleaned in a long long time. Even outside the Police station there is rubbish. Surely being so busy this should be swept weekly. Terrible!

Flytipping in broad day light, 9th April
About 12 30noon today 9th April 2 men about 40 years of age in 2 new white vans.. They were wearing shorts and tea shirts...un loading these items on the hard shoulder.. I believe this is cheshire police

I do not know who this land belongs to but i am conserned after seeing about forty old car tires and other rubbish dump their my concern is that of the problem of fire their the land is at the end of the car park at st pauls church constable lee rawtenstall .
