4 inch deep pothole Long Hey Lane, 2nd February
A large pothole approx 1and a half foot long 1 foot wide and approx 4ins deep at the edge on Long Hey Lane near Jct Jackson Heights. It is a particular problem because it is very close to another large pothole that vehicles are swerving to avoid, making it inevitable that they will hit one or other of these potholes

Huge deep pothole, 3rd January
There is a huge and deep pothole emerged at the side of the road, this particular road is very narrow and if there are vehicles coming both ways, both must go as far to the edges of the road as possible to squeeze past each other - this will now be very dangerous for people driving towards Hoddlesden village as they now risk smashing their wheel into the pothole which is highly likely to do serious damage to the vehicle. Horses also use this road and walkers - if they managed to trip into the hole it could also have a very serious outcome for all. Please attend site and rectify asap

Blocked storm drain, 13th September
This drain ( and others near by) are completely blocked with accumulated soil. This causes torrents of water to continue down the lane at times of heavy rainfall. In addition the steel cover has recently been raised, would cause severe damage to any car that swerved off the lane to avoid other vehicles

Unfinished tree removal, 29th July
This tree fell during the storms this winter. The top was removed and barriers put around the root ball. This is still there. The tree has suckered around the barriers, so they aren't very visible anymore.
