Very badly littered verge next to the new fence of the new estate, 20th February
As you can see by the photos I have started to clean this area up but have been unable to continue due to ill health. It is a real mess. The manager of the building site there has offered to help me clean up and has been very supportive. There’s also rubbish opposite near a field gate. I think people are parking there at night and throwing rubbish onto the verge from their cars.

Dangerous speed, 17th September
This road is used as a cut through and people come flying over the bridge of which you cannot see any oncoming traffic. I have horses at the stables just on the other side of the bridge and have now had 2 incidents which have resulted in the horse being injured as a result of people unaware of horses on the road and the speed of which they come over the bridge

Silver car dumped at the bottom of Lower Park Street, been there for a year. Council won't do anything about it, for some unknown reason. No tax, MOT or insurance.

Junction of Garden St. and Frank St. Flag stone broken leaving hole and remaining half flag standing proud., 14th August
Flag appears to have been "snapped" possibly by vehicle and one half had been left on pavement. I have moved it to side of pavement so no one will trip. Resultant hole visible but still a hazard!

Car parked in middle of road, 7th February
Car regularly parks in the middle of the road at the top of Dam Head Road. This wouldn’t be so much of a problem but it partially blocks the back street to gain entrance to Far East View, to which there is no other access. Due to the high kerb even small cars struggle to get through when the car is there. Possibly someone visiting Gisburn Rd School Children’s Centre, the centre have been told of parking issues and have made visitors aware but some ignore the advice. Registration number PL68 KXA
