I'm writing to express my concern about a recent incident involving a traffic warden outside St. John's Road in Birmingham, Sparkhill near Arden Primary School. At around 8:35 PM, which is unusual, the warden parked on yellow lines for about 13 minutes while issuing tickets to other drivers. This seems unfair and contradictory. It's important that enforcement officials follow the same rules they enforce on everyone else. During the incident, I personally spoke to the officer and asked how long they wait before issuing a ticket. They replied that they typically wait for 5 minutes; if a car is parked for more than 5 minutes, a parking ticket is issued. However, it's perplexing that this same officer parked in the same spot for 13 minutes without receiving a fine.
Could you please investigate this matter to ensure fairness for all residents? I also want to mention that I haven't yet shared the video evidence/photo evidence of the parking incident with the media, but I'm considering doing so if this matter isn't resolved satisfactorily. It seems as though the traffic warden was simply trying to meet ticket quotas for the day. I'm confused as to why enforcement officers don't patrol during times when illegal parking is more prevalent, such as during school hours when many cars park on yellow lines, or on main roads where obstructions are common.
I'm experiencing significant inconvenience as I have no parking outside my house and am receiving parking tickets almost every day. I urgently need a parking permit issued or the yellow lines removed to alleviate this ongoing problem. What steps will you take to assist me in resolving this issue promptly and effectively?

Poor parking, 11th May
My vehicle is parked just in front of the vehicle LR10 YGV. That vehicle in question is parked so close to my car I was practically stuck and could not get my vehicle out.
In addition to this, the vehicle is parked entirely on the pavement, leaving no room for pedestrians.
Finally, the vehicle is parked right on the edge of the road. The adjacent road is Bertha Road which houses many factories that have trucks coming in and out. As a result whenever cars are parked near the bend/edge between Tomey Road and Bertha road, we have huge issues with trucks not being able to turn off Bertha road on to Tomey road, as the available turning space is reduced.
As a result this vehicle was not only infuriating for me personally, but also would have been causing minor inconvenience for pedestrians and major issues for the many truck drivers in the area. It is imperative this poor parking is penalised to deter others from following the same egregious practice.

Fly tipping, 11th May
Lots of black bags outside 19/17 Braithwaite Road B11 1LA I have reported this over a week ago but nothing has been done to get it removed.
Can you please arrange to get it removed as the pavement is blocked and is causing an obstruction for the children who use it as school route. The school is literally next to this rubbish.
