The Drumgoon roadside and my garden is constantly littered with rubbish i.e. individuals disposing of empty cans and polystyrene food trays, 25th October
I am fed up picking litter from my garden or the surrounding area. The riverbank area is classified an ASSI and it might be helpful if signs were put up to clearly identify this area and the whole Fermanagh. It isn't suffice to have no litter signs up in the towns, the countryside is every bit as important, if not more so. There are cleaning services provided in the towns but nothing in the rural areas. This weekend I had to remove polystyrene food trays from my garden and the roadside. The trays were from Frazers shop in Maguirebridge and it may only be coincidence, but these particular trays appeared on a day road repairs were carried out. The issue that really got to me is more recently someone has deposited a microwave oven on top of the bridge over the Tempo river.
