Overgrown thorn bushes stopping cycle path use, 11th August
I cycle with my 2 children in a bike trailer from Doagh to Ballyclare often and have had to stop doing so due to the overgrown thorn bushes and hedges the whole way along the route. The route is just about passable on the bike on its own but is now very dangerous and hazardous if pulling a child trailer. The overgrown branches and thorns are at a length and level where they hit the trailer not to mention the thorns over the path increasing the likelihood of punctures which is not ideal with 2 toddlers. I would appreciate if someone could confirm if the hedgerows are to be cut any time soon.
