Tree Preservation Order request, 5th April
I am requesting a Tree Preservation Order for a 1.5 acre area of established woodland along the Rann road (along a shared laneway). This area falls under the Woodland Category. It is a mixed, well established woodland supporting a diverse range of native trees, undergrowth, mixed bird species and other wildlife. The woodland is 30-40 years old and covers approximately 1.5 acres. The woodland is viewable from the Rann road as well as the shared laneway it runs alongside. This provides substantial wellbeing benefits to residents of the laneway and wider area. It also supports a wide range of bird species and other wildlife. Buzzards and owls nest in the trees every year, and it also supports resident pinemartins and badgers. The woodland is privately owned and I am seeking to protect the area from deforestation and other damage potentially being carried out by the current or any future owners.

Mud on road and footpath, 11th February
Lorries are taking sub-soil off building site . No attempt is being made to clean the lorry wheels before exiting the site. This means that the road now has substantial deposits of clay and the footpath is covered in mud at the site entrance. He has sign saying 'use other footpath'--does he have the authority to do this?
