Double yellow line parking, 14th March
There are often cars parked on the double yellow lines. Since the road is narrow, it is easy to scratch and block the passage of vehicles. I don't want to fine them, I just want to make my way home easier. Thanks

Ongoing double yellow parking on Colenso Parade/ Sandhurst Drive, 20th February
Despite the increased presence and efforts of traffic wardens in recent months, parking on double yellow lines continues to be an almost daily occurrence. I have plenty more photos than I am allowed to upload here. There is a blatant disregard for the double yellow lines on this street, so people park wherever they want. It might not be easy to see from the pictures, but this parking makes it incredibly challenging for me to move my own car past and to turn in the street. It's also a dangerous nuisance for local families, elderly etc. My driveway gets blocked in too. In the past I have been told to contact the police, but this problem parking happens at least 4 times per week when the university is open for students - are the police really going to attend every single time I call? I have lived in this street since 2019, and parking in the area is getting worse. Nobody is doing anything about it. Please can bollards be installed and/ or resident parking permits and/ or pay parking to deter this excess of illegal and unfair parking?

Eyesore of a bin outside the Tipsy Bird hospitality venue, 7th December
There is a badly maintained public bin regularly not emptied in particular the cigarette bin on top. It is covered in graffiti and has scorch marks from going on fire previously. I would like this bin relocated ideally or at least changed and properly maintained. This is getting worse but has been a problem for years.
