FIXMYSTREET IN AB42 3AN
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of AB42 3AN:
Problematic parking, 12th February
Workers from the local fish factory park their cars beside dropped kerbs stopping disabled people from accessing the pavement. They also park in a way that stops larger vehicles from accessing Lairds Walk. Latest was Friday 9th Feb when the bin lorry couldn't collect the streets recycling. If there was an emergency then the crucial minutes it takes to get the person to move their car could result in a fatality. This has been reported to the factory (but its not their responsibility to police the public road) It has also been report to the council and police on multiple occasions.

Loose stones after surface dressing - Dangerous, 15th June
The whole road has now been done with the surface dressing around a week or so ago, it has been swept. However as I'm on a motorbike you notice any build up of loose stones, the ASCO & Score junctions has this which makes it dangerous, can this part be re-swept to remove the loose stones. When on that part of the road you feel stones hitting you on the leg which are picked up by the front wheel. When turning of the road into Score you can feel the bike uneasy even at a very slow speed. I feel if you didn't know then you would most probably fall off. please have this swept before someone hurts themselves. thanks

Surface Dressing not swept up after a week, 18th May
This road had surface dressing done to the joints around a week ago, it has not been swept. I ride a bike and this makes it extremely slippery. Even with the signs, it is still very dangerous. Normally SD is swept up the next day, maybe it's been forgotten about.

Puddle forms across the road when it rains, 24th February
Every time it rains a massive puddle form opposite the entrance to the Asco base, there is a slop from the base down to the road. so water runs down the hill from the base. Not sure if there is a drain on the opposite side of the road. not safe for cyclists or walkers. Been like this for years, about time it was sorted. If no drain one should be installed...
