Flooding, water, sand and rubble on road, 5th November
During heavy rain recently a large volume of water, sand and rubble has washed out onto the recently repaired road and is damaging the surface, the embankment just next to the road seems to have a broken field drain that’s causing the problem and every day water runs across the road as the ditch is full of vegetation. Suggest clearing the ditch/ clean the rubble off the road and speak to the farmer about rectifying the field drainage issues

Multiple road surface and drainage issues, 20th May
This section of road has been suffering since August 2020, however since around January 2021 the pothole and drainage situation has worsened, damage made worse by frost, the large volume of heavy traffic in the area to carry out rail repairs, combined with the bad drainage of that dip in the road leads to the surface constantly being ripped up and the short term patch repairs never last long. Please resurface the road section and improve drainage of the ditches either side of the road.

Large area of uneven surfaces and potholes need resurfaced, 20th May
Travelling eastbound at this point around access roads to private property’s and near train crash site there is a large area with uneven surfaces, and tracks that have been cut across the road and poorly patched over since the heavy traffic to the worksite, the area is in need of substantial repairs and improved drainage to reduce the frequency of new potholes and damage occurring.

Pothole and uneven surface at junction, 19th May
Pothole becoming an issue, however the main long term issue is while driving westbound on the road at junction to carmont station road, the surface is raised excessively, causing people to drive on the wrong side of the road to avoid the large ‘bump’ and into oncoming traffic. I suggest the road be re-profiled to be level at the junction for safety reasons, while addressing the pothol and patchy road surface.

Multiple large potholes across road, 19th May
Several large pot holes across full width of road, requires resurfacing, likelihood of severe damage to wheels/suspension and or causing an accident is high. Has been an ongoing issue for years, suggest that drainage is improved and entranceway/access to the farm is tarred to reduce the rocks and stones dragged out onto the road that cause the surface of the road to get damaged.

There is road drain full of mud and stones, it fills up very quickly and floods the road, this causes the road edges to get very wet and vehicles sink into the verge, causing very bad water retention and unsafe conditions. Please can the gully and drain leading to it be cleared out so the water can flow.
