Roadside drain is blocked, 12th January
Roadside drain is blocked and has been for probably over a year. This is causing water to build up and flow across the road during wet weather. This then freezes when the weather gets cold causing a serious road safety hazard especially as this is at a busy junction.

A series of potholes/ broken road surface, 11th November
Approaching Whitecairns from the North on the B999 a red non-slip section at the start of the village is breaking down into a cluster of potholes. This has been developing over the past few months.

At road junction with B999, 14th June
There is a large pothole in the middle of the road, which is nearly impossible to miss if you are turning right off the main B999. There is also a second pothole on the other lane making it even more difficult to turn right off the main road or turn right onto the main road from the side road, It has been there for several weeks now.

Loose manhole cover in middle of road., 11th September
Manhole cover in middle of narrow country road just off the B977 at Whitecairns. Cover makes a very loud clanging sound when anything drives over it. Even just when somebody walks over it as its so badly unseated. This could cause a problem for any car, van cyclist going over it if it collapses in.
