57.091089 -2.105159

Gypsy Travellers set up camp. Please arrange for the immediate removal of these people. They have taken over the ground at Gateway Pavilion at Gateway Business Park. This is an urgent health & safety issue as children use this area for their sports activities as well as football, which involves many children from the City & shire areas. Given the toxic, uncontrolled sewage & inevitable destruction of these grounds, this ‘travelling community’ need to be removed now!

Thu, 21 Feb 2019 13:48:45 +0000
57.10544 -2.118462

Residents had enough - We have lived with this section of road being in a dangerous condition for over 10 years now. Picture attached is from Feb 2017! Road requires RESURFACING down to the bridge. Filling of Potholes is not acceptable. In addition to the Road surface there is a water main leak (again existed for years) which causes problems during freezing temperatures.

These potholes are deep and getting deeper day by day. It is getting increasingly difficult to pass safely. The road will soon be impassable. It needs fully resurfaced. The taxi driver taking my wife home from working late almost did not pass down the road and had stated that she would need to walk the half mile in the dark the rest of the journey back home.

Numerous pot holes; 5-10cm deep, 20-80cm diameter, 20-40 in number - growing daily, 13th November

Tue, 13 Nov 2018 21:52:22 +0000
57.105452 -2.118752

This road had a partial fix earlier this year. The volume of traffic on this single track road has continued to increase, to levels that I guess that is over and above what it was designed to accommodate. The potholes have reappeared and are growing in size and number. Damage to cars, including mine, is becoming more and more inevitable. Please resurface this road before the winter renders this road, that is essential for access to our house, inaccessible.

Banchory Devenick needs a 30mph speed designation!, 23rd October

Tue, 23 Oct 2018 17:30:34 +0100
57.092638 -2.14104

I am baffled why Blairs has 30mph speed designation where (1) the road is straight and visibility good, (2) the road has designated, painted lanes for traffic going both ways, (3) there are sidewalks on both sides of the road, and (4) there are no driveways that exit directly onto North Deeside Rd. Whereby in Banchory Devenick there are (1) blind bends, (2) NO sidewalks, (3) the roads are not even wide enough in some spots for two cars to pass, and (4) there are at least 5 driveways exiting onto the main road.! Please can we have a new speed designation of 30mph for Banchory Devenick. We would welcome a formal review of driving safety during rush hour by a police officer.
Report on FixMyStreet

Large, jagged pothole right at blind bend has still not been fixed. Others were fixed in the area but this one is getting worse and impossible to avoid without risking hitting oncoming traffic, 23rd October

Tue, 23 Oct 2018 17:18:06 +0100
57.097742 -2.139953

Pothole has been reported before in July and logged as fixed but it has NOT been fixed since originally reported. It will result in a pinched flat for someone. Impossible to avoid as it's right on the apex of a blind bend.

Banchory Devenick desperately needs a 30mph limit from all approaches, 26th June

Tue, 26 Jun 2018 13:52:23 +0100
57.092087 -2.143613

This is a popular bike route for commuters and exercisers, including a number of CHILDREN both walking and biking. There are dogwalkers, there are blind bends with driveway access, at some points the roads are not wide enough even for 2 cars to pass each other. During rush hour there are many cars coming through Banchory Devenick at 60mph, with no regard for pedestrians and bikers. Please, please can you install a 30mph limit for the couple of kilometers around this junction. It is dangerous not only for cars, but also for pedestrians and cyclists.
