The area is highly popular with commuters due to its excellent transport links. The Earley railway station and Reading West railway station offer frequent services for commuters and provide a direct connection into Reading town centre, London Paddington, South Wales, and Oxford. The Reading Buses operate services throughout the local area.

In terms of healthcare, RG2 postcode has access to a variety of options. Reading has the Royal Berkshire Hospital, located in the Royal Berkshire NHS Trust, and is a leading provider of healthcare in the local area.
