The SE2 postcode is an area of London in the Borough of Greenwich. It is centred around the Abbey Wood area, and is neighboured by the SE3 postcode to the west, as well as the DA16 and DA17 postcodes to the east.

The area is mainly a residential one, with a number of houses as well as some low rise apartments. Additionally, there are some commercial establishments in and around the area, such as shops, pubs, and restaurants. There are also a number of professional offices in the area.

There is a rail line running through the area, and trains are regular, running from Woolwich Arsenal station to Lewisham station. The area is also serviced by several bus lines, and is helpfully located near the A2, a major motorway which is the main route in and out of London.

Unlike other areas of London, there is a distinct lack of tourist attractions within the SE2 postcode. That being said, there are a few notable sites, such as the Lesnes Abbey which dates back to the 12th century, and its surrounding woodlands. There are also a variety of local museums and galleries, such as the Greenwich Heritage Centre and the London Borough of Greenwich Museum.
