Woman with leukaemia to undergo bone marrow transplant after visa reversal
May Brown, a 23-year-old from Weymouth, is set to undergo a bone marrow transplant at King's College Hospital in London on 12 December. This follows a campaign that led to the reversal of a Home Office decision denying her sister, Martha from Nigeria, a visa to donate bone marrow. The transplant is scheduled after more than 60,000 people signed an online petition supporting the cause.

CCTV image released after attempted robbery in Christchurch
Dorset Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with an attempted robbery at the Honeymoon Chinese takeaway in Highcliffe, Christchurch. The incident occurred on 31 October at 19:55 GMT, when a man demanded cash from staff before leaving empty-handed. No weapon was used, and the man, described as white and in his 20s, left the scene on a bicycle.
