Medbourne is a village in the valley of the River Welland, and Hallaton is renowned for its ancient Bottle Kicking tradition.

LE6 is close to a number of amenities; transport links including the A47, M1/M6 and A14 are nearby. It's also conveniently located for getting to Leicester city, which is a thriving city with fashionable boutiques and eateries, theatrical performances, and a lively nightlife. It's situated close the National Forest and is not too far from Rutland Water either.

The area has something for everyone; for those who are looking for a rural lifestyle, local villages provide a quiet and peaceful environment in which to raise a family, while those after an urban lifestyle will not be disappointed with Leicester offering amenities and entertainment. It also has a great selection of schools with seven primary schools, three secondary schools, and be encouraged to pursue higher education by attending the Leicester College of Art and Design, University of Leicester and DeMontfort University.
