Overgrown and clearly out of control tree which is a dangerto the public

The silver Birch tree outside adjoining 64/66 Camborne Road , SM4 4JJ is clearly overgrown and a danger to the public. Everyone in the neighbourhood comments on the overgrown and generally poor state of this tree. It cant be long now before it joins me in bed! I have lived at my address for over 30 years and in all that time this tree has been 'trimmed' just ONCE!!! I think they used nail scissors because it was a pathetic attempt to cut a few roadside twigs by a lazy incompetent council. A tree opposite had to be cut down in November due to seriously fallen branches and it was nowhere near to the size of the tree in question. Also, unsurprisingly the council have still not reimbursed my neighbour for the repairs to her damaged front wall. Isn't it about time it was resolved? Frankly, knowing Merton council, I do not find this in the least bit surprising! I look forward to a proper reply from the council and not just the usual tumbleweed resonse of the past.
