A 55-year-old man from Basingstoke has been arrested on suspicion of murder following a fatal stabbing in Tasmania Close. Basingstoke stabbing: Man dies and another injured
A man has died and another has been injured in a stabbing in Tasmania Close, Basingstoke. Police were called to the scene just before 21:00 BST on Sunday, where a man in his 30s was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim, also in his 30s, suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made, and the police are appealing for witnesses and information.
