Illegal parking this morning causing serious risk when turning
2nd April
This happens nearly every day with different vehicles and this particular vehicle was here at 10:30am. It is extremely dangerous for any vehicle turning onto King St from St Ann's Square because it is impossible to see other cars coming when somebody is parked on the double yellow lines right on the corner.

Pothole
again
The road here is damaged 99% of the time due to the road being constantly flooded from water run off adjacent to the road.
Suggest root cause is addressed instead of keep attempting to fill the same pothole time and again.

Double yellow line parking
20th September
Every day vehicles are parking along the double yellow lines at the junction of gartside street and King street. This causes chaos every single day at rush hour as vehicles wanting to turn right out of gartside street are forced to sit in the right hand lane, blocking those who want to turn in. This causes gridlock on the Main Street. This illegal parking needs better enforcement!

Road becoming impassable due to overgrown hedge
27th July
Rumbles Lane Delph is narrow, but heavily used by pedestrians and cars. Where Rumbles lane, reaches the A62 a large hedgerow is now taking over the whole side of the lane, making it impassable without scraping cars and damaging mirrors etc of anything larger/taller. The road has been reduce in width by around 0.5m and 1m at higher level. Further up, the whole lane is overgrown with trees and weeds, scraping down cars with weeds and bushes/branches for vans and wagons/tractors, that need to get down the lane as they always have. I have been forced to trim a lot of branches back towards the Hill End end of the lane, to try to stop vehicles getting damaged but the weeds still make it dangerous for cars to pass pedestrians. The A62 end will need major pruning works to cut the now very large/thick hedge back and reinstate the road.

Potholes
14th June
Multiple potholes which have had an attempt at repair, but throwing a load of loose gravel into the hole isn't going to do a great deal. 10 minutes after this being done, most of the gravel was spread along the road and the pothole remains. If anything, the attempt at repair made the road more dangerous as it created a loose surface for cars to then drive on, which was helpful.
