Cars blocking the road
6th May
Residents of the bottom two houses, (35&37 I believe) persistently park outside their houses which blocks the road. I appreciate its a tricky situation. However, if you purchase a house with no parking available thats what you pay for. The road is a one way street with space for one vehicle up or down at a time. You cannot just park in the road. It blocks all other residents getting up and down. It blocks the bin lorrys on bin day which means were always behind on bin days. Sometimes weeks behind. In summer, this is a real issue as the bins smell and attract maggots, flies and rodents. If there was a fire, no fire engine has access. Similarly, if somebody was in need of an ambulance you wouldnt get one up. Its a real health and safety risk. There are lots of thorns and vegetation on the right hand side so even when they park right up against the wall of their house and certain cars can squeeze through, its causing damage as the cars are getting scratched.

Parking on pavement
14th January
Car parked on pavement, no space to pass without stepping into a dark road or grassy verge. I chose grassy verge but could not see that this was very slippy as the grass had been churned up into mud and was in darkness .I just managed to stop myself falling.

Illegally parked van
14th October
The van was parked on double yellow lines on the corner or Porchester Road with its junction if Sandford Road. This was preventing cars pulling out from Sandford Road from seeing any trafgic coming down Porchester Road. They had also parked on the pavement next to an overgrown spiky bush. Trying to squeeze past my 3 year old son got scratches to his face. The alternative was to walk up the road against oncoming traffic at 8.30am. Pushchairs and wheelchairs couldn't get past at all
