Roadworks 19 June
5th June
We are building houses off West Way, starting shortly. The utility companies will be digging up the road for gas, telephone, water and electric. This will make a mess of the new tarmac. Can you delay the road works until after this has been done - perhaps in 3 months?

The footpath from the roundabout to Steadings Cottages is obstructed.
3rd June
Bushes and trees along this stretch of path are forcing pedestrians to walk into the main road. In addition debris from the road has now narrowed the path to a significant extent making it hard to walk along without overhanging the path. This is extremely dangerous especially with HGVs passing at high speed with their mirrors overhanging the path. The path needs to be restored to its full width for the entire length as a matter of urgency.

Unusual placement of Give Way line has appeared
2nd June
Preston Tollbar turning towards South Cerney off main road. A new Give Way line has appeared, never been there before, not too sure what cars should be giving way to. If pedestrians crossing, then perhaps a Zebra crossing needs to be added. If cars - dispute need for Give Way line. The road is wide enough to pass vehicles going in both directions and at the point of the Give Way line the small slip road is one way so nothing to give way to. Dangerous position may result in a queue onto the main road and cause a shunting accident from unsuspecting vehicles not expecting a car to have stopped at a Give Way line.

Numerous
long-standing potholes
On the southbound side of the S-bend as the roads turns to the left there are numerous, large and small pot holes that have been there for years. They have had some tarmac poured into them at at some point but this has never really resolved the issue. Its quite dangerous though as theres now no way to avoid the holes and it often causes the car to veer to the right towards potentially oncoming traffic.
