The footpath from the roundabout to Steadings Cottages is obstructed.
3rd June
Bushes and trees along this stretch of path are forcing pedestrians to walk into the main road. In addition debris from the road has now narrowed the path to a significant extent making it hard to walk along without overhanging the path. This is extremely dangerous especially with HGVs passing at high speed with their mirrors overhanging the path. The path needs to be restored to its full width for the entire length as a matter of urgency.

Nresolved Road Safety Concern – A419/A429 Roundabout Near Cirencester Office Park (GL7 6JJ)
12th May
It has come to my attention that this issue has been marked as resolved, yet no changes have been made on site. I must stress that the dangerous conditions remain entirely unaddressed, and the misleading signage and road markings continue to create confusion and risk for road users.
In the past week alone, two more colleagues have experienced near misses at this junctionadding to an already worrying pattern. The confusion over lane usage, particularly where drivers from the right-hand lane cut across those using the left lane to go straight, remains a serious hazard. It is not just affecting employees of the business park but poses a daily risk to all drivers using the roundabout.
I respectfully urge the council to reopen the investigation into this matter and to consider the immediate implementation of improved signage, road markings, and clearer lane guidance to prevent a potentially serious collision.

Sign fallen down
1st May
The temporary sign has fallen over, blown by wind, advising HGV vehicles to travel A429 and not A433 due to restriction of travel by railway bridge at Thameshead HGVs are still travelling to the Railway Bridge on A433 and have to reverse and complete a multiple point turn to turn around and go back - please put up a more permanently fixed sign?

Urgent Road Safety Concern – A419/A429 Roundabout Near Cirencester Office Park
29th April
Dear [Council Name or Highways Department], I am writing to raise serious concerns regarding road safety at the roundabout where the A419 (Stroud Road) meets the A429 (Tetbury Road), near Cirencester Office Park (GL7 6JJ). The current road signage approaching the roundabout indicates that the left lane is for turning left, the right lane is for turning right, and straight ahead leads to a dead end. However, the route straight over the roundabout actually leads directly into Cirencester Office Park a busy business location with significant daily traffic. This signage is misleading and, combined with the road layout, is creating a dangerous situation. The left side of the approach road has two lanes, and many drivers are using the right-hand lane to turn left at speed. At the same time, vehicles intending to go straight (towards the business park) are using the left lane, in line with the Highway Code and the signs provided. This puts them directly in the path of cars cutting across from the right lane. Several of my colleagues have experienced near misses at this roundabout, and from within the business park we frequently hear horns and witness erratic driving behavior at this junction. The lack of clear road markings and misleading signs are contributing factors, and I am deeply concerned that it is only a matter of time before a serious accident occurs. I urge the council to investigate this junction as a priority. I believe updated signage, clearer road markings, and possibly changes to lane usage could significantly improve safety for all road users.
