Jerky bumpy mobility scooter ride

From 72 Lansdown, Stroud to Tesco Merrywalks the pavements are awful, making my journey painful, and also difficult to keep a straight line drive. My scooter is a 4mph pavement only type. With ageing, I am 82, comes the need for mobility scootering, so these bumps and cracks have restricted my use of the just delivered scooter now, and thus less likely to go out. Please do something about the quality of pavements in Stroud.

2 inch by 10 inch slot between rainwater drains

At the dropped kerb at the start of the cycle path on Wallbridge Road there are two rainwater drain covers next to one another. The piece of iron joining the drain covers has detached and dropped into the hole between the drains. There is now a 2 inch by 5 inch slot immediately preceding the dropped kerb.

Large caravan

Large smashed up caravan has been left abandoned. Has a notice on to say it would be removed in 14 days - this was dated 15/05/2025 and the caravan remains. Its an eyesore and is very wide and would prove difficult to get emergency services vehicles past to the cemetery or Horns Farm.

Entire lenth of pavement linking Russell St with pedestrian crossing to Stroud Rail Station. I am retired and have a mobility issue. I frequently travel to/ from London, with baggage on small wheels.The width is extremely substandard, being too narrow for people to pass ; the kerb only 1 inch high in places & a serious Road Safety hazard.
