These include the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway, the National Waterways Museum, plus numerous historic sites such as Gloucester Cathedral and the Globe Theatre. The area also enjoys many open green spaces, such as Pittville Park, as well as the nearby Painswick to Stroud Canal.

These include Stroud District Council, Waitrose Distribution Centre, Pro Logis UK Storage Centre, and the Severnside Distribution Centre.
