Unpermitted roadworks problem
17th June
Customer reports that a road closure is in operation at the location. There was no notification and there is no indication of what's going on or where the works are - there doesn't appear to be anything happening - and there are no signs pre-warning of this further down the road. Please can Highways clarify what is happening, as it is causing them some inconvenience and they're considering removing the signs as it is an unnecessary closure (these are marked 'Ringway').

Severely eroded tarmac alongside resurfaced trench.

Theescombe Hill near the Small House. A 50 metre section of road from this point and down the hill for 100 metres or so is so eroded in many previously repaired areas that it now makes it very dangerous for any pedestrian and/or cyclist negotiating this road especially after dark and/or when the road is wet and slippery!
