Flooded
12th June
The drains outside 99 Gretton Road (including a kerb gully) are not coping with heavy downpours causing flooding across the road and a large amount of water on the driveway of 99 Gretton Road. After a certain amount of rain the water comes completely across the road causing water to come over pavement at the property opposite (48 Gretton Road).

Damage to stone bridge
12th June
The bridge crosses the River Isbourne at the end of Mill Lane GL54 5LT. It belongs to us at Millfield. It is about 150 years old and was built to carry horses and carts.I have been told that a sensible limit on weight would be 3 tons; this is the limit that we and our neighbour (who also has access) apply for any vehicles. However the stone bridge parpet has been damaged (please see photo) and the advice I have is that this has been caused by overloading. I suspect that the reason is that the bridge has been used by increasingly large and heavy vehicles accessing the King George V playing field which belongs to Winchcombe Town Council. At a guess the large tractor with gang mower attached must weigh 10 tons. I'm worried about the safety of the bridge so I'm going to put an additional padlock on, the current one neediing a County key. I've spoken to two builders who are considering if they can help with a repair and I've also talked to the Winchcombe Town Council reporting the problem. Your help and advice would be much appreciated. Richard Woods, Millfield, GL54 5LT

Pavement uneven and narrowed by overhanging vegetation
10th June
From Isolation House, Greet along to Winchcombe School. The surface of the already narrow pavement is in a very poor uneven state and now the vegetation next to it, including nettles is overhanging it. Pushchairs and wheelchairs can only go through with extreme difficulty due to surface and forcing through the vegetation. This is the only footpath from Winchcombe and the schools & park to Greet & Littleworth. Not enough room for an adult to walk with a child and force single users to walk on the outside of the path which is dangerous given how close Lorries and cars come to the pavement as the road is relatively narrow.

Confusing road marking causing traffic near-misses.
23rd May
North Street was recently resurfaced with new road markings. It is a two-way street but the white triangle in the road telling motorists to give way is painted in the centre of the road, giving drivers the impression it is a one way street. This means that some drivers are moving over to the right before turning and blocking the road for vehicles turning into North Street from the High Street. Surely the triangle should be on the left and there should be a single pecked white line in the centre of the road, leading to the double pecked white lines at the actual junction of the roads. I have witnessed several near misses in the last week or so, one involving a lorry. A couple of men who were measuring the road told me they just painted whatever was there before, but if that was the case, I guess it was so faded it didn't cause a problem.

Tree limbs overhanging path and falling.
22nd May
Outside 1 Abbots Leys Road, GL54 5QE
I have been reporting this since 2013.
The tree is overgrown, almost reaches the windows of my house (I have disabilities and am unable to cut it myself).
Every year it pushes against overhead wires and large branches fall onto the path (this is a main path to and from primary school, and I have to walk under it every time I leave my property) and into the road.
Eventually it will cause an injury to someone, damage a car or break the overhead cables.
Please cut it back. It has been an issue for over 10 years now. Eventually
