Faded single and double yellow lines
17th May
Faded yellow lines all the way down middle street. it makes access to my house very difficult and dangerous with the amount of cars park on faded yellow lines. also the junction of castle street and middle street has faded double yellow lines so cars are parked right on the junction making visibility really dangerous especially as we have a primary school so that means lots of young children.

Blocked cycle path
16th May
Hi, I use the Stroud to Stonehouse cycle track and have noticed that the stretch between the turn for the Industrial estate and the light controlled crossing is very overgrown forcing riders very close to the fence, could you cut this part back when the nesting season is over please Thanks

Phasing on lights at bottom of Dudbridge Hill
14th May
The phasing of the lights at the bottom of Dudbridge Hill appears to be wrong - only a few cars are getting through at a time, then lights change to red for a long time whilst the other lights at the bottom of Dudbridge Road (not Hill) are on green. It's been causing tailbacks for days right up Dudbridge Hill, Walkley Hill and Bath Road.

Unpermitted roadworks problem
14th May
Email received 14/05/2025 - copy attached. Customer would like more information on the intended closure of Horns Road, where they live, in Stroud. Residents have noticed a sign saying that the road will be shut for 15 days from 26th May, for Virgin Media works. It was only a few weeks ago that the road and pavements were dug up, causing mess, nuisance and in their case litter, as some workmen chose to leave their rubbish in their front garden. They realise they all want broadband, but would like to know why this is happening again so soon and to be assured these works are necessary for the benefit of all.

Road closure without notice to residents.
14th May
The works being undertaken on Kings Road beyond the junction with Coronation Road (see green arrow on map) is being attempted with any prior consultation to local road users. For example on Sunday 11th May a larges number of traffic cones appeared late afternoon/early evening. Next morning the crew could not work as many cars were still parked in obstructive places. My point is can the management of this operation by encouraged to plan ahead rather than simply removing parking spaces at no notice. It would help them as well as local residents.

There is a speed warning sign on Dr Newton's Way near the junction with the A46 which is now obscured by a tree.
13th May
This is on Dr Newton's Way just before the roundabout with the A46 (Bath Road). There are also stickers titled "100% Attendance" on some of the road signs (in particular the 40mph warning sign under the railway bridge). This is becoming an increasing problem on road signs around Stroud.
