The road surface is uneven and extensively covered with potholes
posing safety and usability issues
The affected area is on Adelaide Street, connecting Hatherley Road and Massey Road, specifically between house numbers 41 to 67.
Description of the issue: This section of Adelaide Street is extensively damaged, with numerous potholes and an uneven surface. Driving through this stretch feels akin to navigating a rough mountain trail, causing vehicles to shake significantly. This not only makes for an uncomfortable driving experience but also poses potential risks to vehicle integrity and road safety.

Trees are getting very close to properties
26th May
The trees on the grass avenue at the entrance to Woodcock Close are getting so big now. They are almost within a metre away from No. 55, closer when the winds increase. These trees are about 50 years old now and have never been cut back. I think its time that they are cut back as they are clearly getting too big for the space they inhabit and worried they will soon damage property.

Encampment of Drug Users Near Park Safety Concern
25th May
We have come across a group of individualsbelieved to be drug users/addictswho have set up a makeshift camp very close to the park, including a tent and windbreakers. They have dogs with them and have been acting aggressively towards passers-by and local dog walkers.
This is especially concerning given how close the encampment is to the childrens play area and the zip wire. Their presence and behavior are making families feel unsafe, and its becoming a serious risk to children and other park users.
We are requesting urgent action to address this situation, ensure public safety, and return the park to a secure and welcoming space for the community.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Missing Zip Wire Seat in Park
25th May
Weve just visited the park and noticed that the zip wire seat is missingits either been removed or possibly stolen. This leaves the equipment unusable and is disappointing for the children who regularly use it.
We would appreciate it if this could be looked into and the seat replaced as soon as possible, so the zip wire can be safely enjoyed again by families and children.
Thank you for your help.

Urgent Trimming and Clean-Up of Overgrown Hedges/Trees Between Overbury Road and India Road
25th May
The hedges and trees in the area between Overbury Road and India Road have become extremely overgrown and are in need of urgent trimming and clean-up. The dense overgrowth has led to a buildup of rubbish and is unfortunately being used as a hiding spot by drug users, which poses a serious safety concern for local residents.
This situation is not only unsightly but also makes the path unsafe and unwelcomingparticularly for families and children who use this route regularly. We are requesting that the council arrange for the hedges and trees to be cut back, the area to be cleared of litter and debris, and any safety hazards to be addressed.
Improving visibility and cleanliness in this area would make a significant difference to the safety and well-being of the community.
Thank you for your attention and support.
