Diversion not signed and incorrect signage
17th September
Travelled last night from M5 trying to get to Barnstaple. The diversion signage was appalling- diverted traffic signs going in both directions at T-junctions, no indication of whether the diversion is for East or West bound travel. Very dangerous especially at night on very windy roads. Please sort this - exhausting end to a journey.

Campervan parking on road by corner.
5th April
Someone is parking a campervan at the end of our road, which while not illegal is causing a lot of visibility problem as you cant see around the corner on the approach and cars coming the other way are forced onto the wrong side of the road whilst unable to see around the corner. The owners do not live in our road and just use it as a dumping ground.

Camper van parked at the end of the road

There is a camper van/ motorhome parked on the end of the junction as you come down seven crosses road and turn left onto patches road. The camper van can not be seen until you go round the corner, we nearly drove into it. It was parked there today (19/9/23), and yesterday. It has been here a few days on and off the last few weeks

Entrance to parking area restricted
8th June
The entrance to the parking area just before the bridge on bridge street is extremely small and needs widening. On multiple occasions, either the corner of the Sew Tea & Coffee shop has been struck as has the concrete end of the bridge railings. Another, and possibly more serious item, is that to enter the car park you have to effectively three point turn on the road on the bridge to get a straight run in. This causes problems as people drive very fast away from the roundabout at the start of Bridge Street and do not realise that a manoeuvre is taking place. Also, When leaving the car park you have to take time to avoid hitting the shop or bridge causing people to become impatient and just walk across the front of the car risking an accident Thanks Roy Carter

Kerb lose and risen up on walk way
17th April
There is a very lose kerb as you cross over the road. I've just got over ligament damage to my knee went for my first short walk along the canal saw plants for sale crossed the road and as I stepped on the kerb side it moved causing me pain again in my knee . Very unsafe for elderly and dog walkers this part if the town is used a lot around the canal area
