Yorwaste Thirsk allowing massive amounts of waste to go on A19

Yorwaste backs straight onto the A19 with a small grassed area in-between. There are non or insufficient debris sheeting around their site. This is allowing massive amounts of waste to go through their fence onto the grass divide with some blowing onto the A19.
There was a traffic management company on the grassed area about a week ago that looked to be tidying the waste but they barley touched the surface. This shouldn't be a highways issue, Yorwaste should be tidying their own waste up. Better still it shouldn't allow waste to exit their site. How do they get away with allowing so much waste to escape without getting fined?

Road closure on York Road adjacent to Thirsk Industrial Park

This road has been closed since the beginning of January (of course it began many months before that). It is totally unacceptable and is costing the economy around Thirsk a huge amount of money. How long is this going to go on? There has been absolutely NO information about times and length of the project. It would be interesting to find out as a HUGE rate payer, the price you have paid for this terrible road maintenance that has taken far too long.

Road closure

The A19 is closed overnight and you are diverting traffic passed my house on Stockton Road Thirsk. I was not informed of this closure or even consulted. You should have determined a method of carrying out these works without closing the road and having an impact on residents of Thirsk. I have not been able to sleep at night whilst the closure is in place. What action are you going to take to resolve this situation and show consideration for residents.
