Numerous potholes

Potholes have developed in front of Grosvenor Cottage on Westgate. They pose a hazard for cars and pedestrians alike. The street in general has a terrible road surface, here and going west towards Broadmires Lane, and could really benefit from a re-surface.

Several 1/2 foot deep potholes on Hurrel Lane with 30ft of the junction for South Lane

These potholes appeared mid December and have become very deep and if not avoided cause a severe impact when you hit them. To avoid them however you have to cut a blind corner which is obviously not safe.

The road is narrow here when cars are parked and vehicles have to drive over them . The potholes are outside West Gables house on Westgate, Thornton Le Dale and are getting worse, especially with the heavy agricultural traffic that uses the road. The problem began before Christmas and has been getting steadily worse since then.
