Cars parking on double yellow lines
28th July
Cars park on the double yellow lines in Old Street, this occurs every night without fail, some park for the whole evening some just for 10 minutes, often parking on the pavement. This makes Old Street too narrow for two way traffic so cars have to que to go past the obstruction and when the bus stops traffic is blocked. This causes considerable noise and nuisance to the residents that live above the shops on the street. The problem has steadily got worse since the take away kebab shop opening a few years ago.

Overhanging trees and overgrown hedges making the carriage way very narrow and branches falling onto parked cars
20th June
The road down to the public Green (by the River Severn) and East Waterside properties, off the A4104 just after Upton-upon-Severn Marina, has become increasingly difficult to navigate due to the hedge and trees not being maintained and trimmed back. As cars are allowed to park down one side of the road (for the public Green and also lots of dog walkers), it has made the carriage way very narrow. Also in winter or heavy rain, the boughs and branches of the trees are touching the cars' roofs. I contacted the Malvern Hills Council or Highways about this issue nearly 2 year ago but nothing has been done, however a large willow bough snapped off in a winter storm - luckily no one was underneath.

Dog owners not picking up after their dog has messed.
3rd February
Thoroughly sick of all the dog mess around Upton Upon Severn. I regularly walk with my toddler & baby and am fed up with getting dog muck on our feet and pram. It's literally everywhere at the moment! Two particularly bad paths are the one that runs behind the cemetery & scout hut. The other bad one is the path from Gardens Walk down to the river by Dunns Lane. Please let's fix this problem for the sake of our lovely little town.

Dog mess all over the paths
alleyways
There is an appalling amount of dog mess all around Upton. Irresponsible dog owners are failing to pick up after their dogs. It is a minority I'm sure but it needs to be stopped! Please prosecute whenever you can! Dog poo bags are FREE at the Memorial Hall in Upton

Dog fouling on pavement
17th December
I complained some weeks ago and I received a reply indicating that the council would clean up the mess. The issue is that the dog owners should be held responsible. Can the dog warden investigate this matter please.

Road gully drainage ditch
26th September
My property bounds onto the A38 immediately adjacent to the Bluebell Inn, Ryall. I own the hedge that shields my house from the main road. Between the hedge and the main road is a ditch that takes the water from 5 road gullies. The ditch makes it very difficult for me, at 74 years of age, to cut the roadside face of the hedge and each year I have to pay a contractor between 200 - 300 to cut the hedge. If the Council were to lay pipes in the ditch and backfill it to the same level as the grass verge it would be quite easy to mow the widened verge.

Dangerous and repeated obstruction of a public highway
10th July
Short and long term vehicular parking on The Beeches, day and night, immediately outside Beechwoood Care Home and its unlit junction with the The Ryall Road; by its staff, visitors, service and delivery vehicles. Forcing other moving traffic coming from both directions to contest the single carriageway left available to them. On a 90 corner and/or a 90 bend. Also causing obstruction to emergency vehicles trying to access the Home and Fire Brigade vehicles needing to access the fire hydrant in that location, as well as obstructing access to domestic properties by close residents, their visitors, deliveries and emergency services.

Dangerous problem with road flooding due to incorrect drainage
20th October
Following recent work to raise the level of the road here there is a problem with flooding as the drain is no longer at the low point of the road. On this corner a dangerous deep puddle forms. There have been numerous near misses and a recent accident when a car moved out to avoid the water and clipped mirrors. Please fix this before there is a serious accident here.
