There is a wide area of footpath in front of tescos adjacent to zebra crossing tht gets misued as a parking spot
20th January
This morning I witnessed an incident where a car had parked on the footpath in front of tescos and reversed onto the road directly over the zebra crossing where a lady had already started crossing - she was able to pull back and was not injured but this could have been a serious injury. I work in safety in the rail industry this is an unacceptable scenario that could easily be remedied before there is a tragedy. I spoke with the tesco manager who informed me that they are not responsible beyond their black bollards and couldn't do anything even if they wanted to as it was up to highways. I stronglly urge some street furniture is added to prevent people parking on this footpath which is large enough for a car and their would still be space for pedestrians if something were added. The drive of this car was completely oblivious to the lady on the crossing, and she was not aware of him until he nearly ran her over I expect because neither were looking for those hazards being out of place.

Car abandoned
15th November
This car has been here for months, but is shown as MOT and taxed. It has two flat tyres, and the drivers window is slightly open as is the rear passenger window. Is this a clone? It is in the layby off Hobs road nearer to Shenstone house.

Over grown lime tree
1st August
The bottom of the tree sprouts with new growth but as the tree is at the bottom of the road, it is difficult to pull out out the road as you cannot see clearly for oncoming traffic, it is dangerous. I have to raise this every year.

Overflowing rubbish in bin
attracting birds and potential rodents!
Every week when the bins are collected at the end of Newton Avenue (where it crosses over Humber Drive) there is at least one bin that has too many rubbish bags in! Lids of the bins are left open due to how many bags have been put into it. Most weeks this leads to rubbish bags being ripped open and contents sprawled onto the driveway which accommodates houses along this drive who each have cars. Today the driveway was obstructed by dirty nappies, empty meal cartons and various other items of rubbish. This is an eyesore but the most concerning issue is the attraction of rodents and other undesirable animals. Maybe the residents who have the bins which are crammed with rubbish bags need bigger refuse bins, this is a growing concern every week. Once the bins have been collected the area around the bin collection area is a magnet for rodents and potential hazardous conditions to the public and vehicles driving along Newton Avenue.

Dangerous xl bully dogs
19th May
There has been a man parading around lichfield town with a xl bully recently. he is short around 5.7ft, mid to late 40,s skinny to average build with grey hair and wearing tracksuit trousers and trainers. The dog had a inaffective faux type rope muzzle on and he was incapable of controlling it, he was showing off as if it was a loaded gun swaggering around the town, it almost pulled him over several times without even trying. I have also seen this same or very similar xl bully at the flats on strawberry Lane it was very viciously growling and barking from behind a very inadequate small chain link fence it could easily climb over at a infant being taken to nursery. The dog was unsecured without restraint or muzzle. Then today (sat 18 may) at about 1pm two overweight ladies who walked into the alleyway at the top of beech Gardens had another 2 xl bully dogs with no muzzle. They were screaming and shouting obscenities whilst struggling to restrain the dogs. One of the dogs was called (coco) this was apparent.one was around 30 years of age the other in her 50's.

Blocked pavement
24th April
People have to walk on the road because a car is completely parked on the pavement and there is no way of getting past. I feel there is a very good possibility an accident is waiting to happen. It definately is a case for health and safety
