Overhanging hedges from properties in Leeds Rd
22nd March
In the stretch of Leeds Road in St Johns area there are several houses that have large overhang of hedges over the footpath. My father in law, aged 82 lives along there and he has great difficulty navigating the footpath on his electric mobility scooter to the point that he has stopped using it, due to an accident he had while trying to avoid the hedges. Together with some street furniture along there the hedges mage big sections of pavement practically impassable for mobility scooter users. This issue happens on both sides of the road and on Belgravia Road, which he uses to access Spar and St Johns church.

Dangerous school parking
25th February
Parents are parking there cars on zigzags, speed bumps over driveways half way on the footpaths during drop off and pick up in school times. It's a danger to children and parents walking to school as they just pull onto the path regardless of pedestrians.

Smoke
13th February
There is regularly black smoke emenating from the chimney of number 32 Jerry Clay Lane. This is affecting air quality in the area. The same is true of the chimney of number 14 Jerry Clay Lane. As an asthmatic, this pollution negatively affects my breathing.

This lamppost-mounted bin is regularly overfilled-filled, with rubbish piled on top and more on the pavement below. It is also directly outside a primary school gates and is used for dog waste. Would it be feasible to replace with a larger bin and move it from the school entrance?

Parking on school street
9th January
There are signs on this road where my son attends school that say no stopping 8AM - 6PM The school has requested all parents do not park on the road due to the ice and snow. The road does not get any sunlight this time of year. Council staff will sometimes be in the road, maybe once a month enforcing the rules but this is not good enough. This parking puts the children who attend Wrenthorpe academy at risk. Furthermore hundreds of children who attend outwood Grange walk past the end of this road also putting them at risk. The school say they have reported this to the police and council but the actions taken are not good enough. Can we have zigzags on this road to prevent it in future? The only cars that are allowed during this time are for parents of children with disabilities.

Yellow box extension please
5th January
Since the new roundabout development the traffic on a morning & evening backs up towards Outwood. This means turning left to get across the two lanes becomes very difficult as people will not let you out as then want to get through the lights. Although there is a yellow box on the road this is to support cars driving into Newton Close. I was wondering if its possible to extend the box to help it become safer getting out of Newton Close, especially for people who need to be in the right lane on approach to the roundabout. Thank you.
