Road surface washed away
4th November
Your officers came to view this issue earlier this year, and marked numerous areas here & other locations along the lane in need of repair. Since that time the road surface has vastly deteriorated as water and other debris get washed down the lane, traffic driving over this section of the lane, which is very narrow and unavoidable greatly compounds the issue. All original markings have gone as the surface has broken away further, it needs to be resurfaced as the same problem exists on the other side of the lane - not shown on the photographs.

Flooding of the road following rain
7th April
At this location the road has repeatedly flooded following periods of rain. There are two drains under the water, which have in the past been cleared by the Council, yet the problem always quickly returns. To fix the problem properly requires the Council to examine the outflow from the drain onto the adjacent field, which is probably blocked. The field belongs to Mr Charlie Wreyford-Brown who lives at the top of the hill in the house named "Bugford".
