The property has a pipe that drains directly onto the road. This continues onto the junction on the corner. In cold conditions it freezes covering the road with ice.

The road is made up of more potholes than road it is particularly bad where indicated on the map but the whole section between Moothill Cross and Waddons Cross is peppered with potholes!

Pot holes and degradation of road surface

Severe damage over a 1.3 mile stretch from Waterford Cross to Knowle Cross at Dashley Corner, due to heavy inappropriate/agricultural vehicles, non existent drainage of run off water, weather and general poor preventative maintenance and upkeep scheduling.

Fix a pothole request - Broadhempston

There is a pothole outside our house (near our lounge and bedroom window) which is hit by many vehicles a day. This makes a lot of noise (and can't be doing the vehicles any good either).
It is about 32 cms wide by 4 cms deep.

Damaged road/potholes
26th January
Unclassified, but well used road from Waterford cross to Knowle cross in the direction of Woodland church. Distance of approximately 1 (one) mile. Potholes becoming more serious day by day, with potential damage to car suspension, tyres, wheels etc. Future repairs need to be more resiliant due to continual use of road by farm vehicles and HGVs such as oil and milk tankers. Road edge damage exacerbated due to water run off and absence of adequate drainage.

There are 4 very large potholes that have got progressively worse and are now a hazard particularly to motorbikes and cycles. It is only a matter of time before someone is injured.

Large dangerous potholes

Series of large holes from Hemslyn to Hemsford. Besides being a danger to motorists,cyclists I twisted my ankle and fell.
