The owner of these vehicles does not live in the close
31st December
Faulkner Close has signs saying "Parking for residents and guest only" at times all the spaces are taken up. However for the last 6 months+ these 2 vans have been parking in the close. They started parking directly opposite my house taking up 3 parking spaces. As I am disabled this was an problem for me. After I placed a notice on the windscreen of one of them the owner has now stated parking only 1 opposite and the other a little further along. The owner does not live in Faulkner Close.

Overgrown Hedges
9th July
The path on the righthand side of the top of Townstal Road is obstructed by overgrown hedges. Even more of an issue now with social distancing and having enough space to safely pass another person.

Parking on the pavement. Unsafe for pedestrians.
3rd March
Parking on pavement everyday and night. Very tight squeeze, sometimes unable to get a pram through. Unsafe for children. Cars also park far to close to the junction, making it impossible to see whats coming up Britannia Avenue. Parking on both sides of the road like this causes single traffic only. These cars are also parked on a bend in Britannia Avenue making seeing what is coming very difficult and dangerous.

Pot Hole on Entry to Sainsbury's Car Park
13th January
This pot hole - around a drain- has been worsening for many months and is unavoidable if you follow the road rules and go around (rather than over) the roundabout. It is at least 50mm deep, and a bicycle or moped tyre could get stuck in it.

Several deep and wide potholes
25th May
These potholes are an ongoing long term problem. They are often patched up but quickly re-form as soon as a period of heavy rain occurs. Due to parked cars throughout the day adjacent to the potholes, they are very difficult to avoid.

UNLIT Roadworks

Half way into the carriageway on the A3122 is a small roadworks sign, some sandbags and a road cone, on top of a manhole cover.
This does not look like an official set of works and all be a major hazard after dark

Crash barrier damage and demolished bus stop post
8th August
Sometime in May 2015 a quite severe (by the look of the damage) crash occurred outside Sainsbury's, Dartmouth. The bus stop sign was flattened and the crash barrier severely damaged, in fact partly torn from the ground. Since then, the only visible sign of repair is the filling in of the hole where the bus stop had stood. Surely by now the crash barrier should have been replaced. I hate to imagine another vehicle hitting the same spot and what could happen to the supermarket building if it did.
