This public road is currntly blocked by a builders skip
30th April
This skip has been there with lots of debris all around for over a year. It looks like this is building material and flytipped waste blocking access and causjng a hazzard to a public footpath. Furthermore, there is a road bollard that has been vandalised and chopped down.

Abandoned vehicle declared SORN has been there for 4 years. The land it is on is unregistered
but as all land in the UK is owned by someone the owner doesn't have permission to leave it there. People are now starting to dump unwanted goods in it.
The van has been there for 4 years, as it's on unregistered land and declared SORN the council have not done anything about it. But, if all land in the UK is owned by someone, which it is, then the owner of the van doesn't have the landowners permission to abandon it there and it can be legally removed.

Broken ankle hazard again on North embankment. And you have only just bodged the repair!
18th June
The pavement on the North Embankment on the river side has been botched with tarmac AGAIN. That patch has now subsided, hardly a surprise since this is a bridge construction, not a causeway, leading to a trip hazard. The tarmac is still soft so it has only just been bodged
We do not want to pay the contractor twice for this hole. It needs a real solution. This is NOT a normal pavement, it is a bridge. It needs specialist work. Please do not bodge the job again

Lorry parked permanently in residential area
3rd March
(This is a follow-on report from the previous report concerning damage to a pedestrian pavement. The pavement is not yet attended to.The resident apparently was issued with a notice to make a proper exit for the vehicle. A large lorry.) The issue in this report is that there is and has been for several months a lorry parked off road, but in very full view of all residents. This is a quient residential area and where businesses are run from the houses they are discreet and appropriate. The lorry makes the area look like a run down industrial estate and will probably attract other commercial vehicles. The question of several residents is, when was planning permission granted for this activity, and is it legitimate, albeit on an off-road position? It's pretty offensive.
