Parking is not permitted on Broadpath, Stoke Gabriel yet people are parking their boats or cars in these illegally built pull-ins. These cause problems for those who live down Broadpath or regularly use this road. As there are no legal parking for boats or cars on this road there are therefore no mirrors and poor sighting of out pulling cars/boats.

No footpath

24th October

Hundreds of people traverse the area of land adjacent to the road next to the Aldi supermarket daily. There is no footpath in this location. The land is rough and uneven, in wet weather it becomes a mud bath. There is footpath from King's Ash all the way to White Rocks except for this short area. It is preventing disabled people accessing the full footpath. By putting a footpath in this location it would benefit disabled people and the wider community.

Live wire exposed could be dangerous

Hi there I work for swisco and was working and noticed in the middle of the road by kfc and asda junction in paignton there is a live wire showing I belive for the lights right in the centre were the white lines are need seen to ASAP thanks Zak

Filter on traffic lights not working

When turning right into Borough Road you enter the box to turn right the right turn filter doesn't come on , it goes straight to red leaving you stranded in the middle of the junction as the oncoming traffic is now on green.

Road down to substrait in some places

20th April

The road approaching the roundabout outside of South Devon College is now seriously badly. Where previously pothole repairs have been patchy, there is now such an assortment of various depths that driving on it gives the experience of offroading. This is very dangerous for both cars and bikes and even pedestrians as cars swerve to avoid damaging wheels on these deep holes.

Multiple 2ft wide 10mm deep potholes at roundabout into college

19th April

Multiple potholes 2-3ft & 10mm deep at the roundabout into SDC , this road is shocking as it has probably 10-15 potholes from the the start of Long Road all the way down to the college . Considering students on motorbikes and scooters use this road it's a miracle no one has not been seriously injured.

Accident black spot

15th February

The traffic lights need to be looked at as a matter of urgency. Another traffic accident tonight, blocking Roselands Drive,opposite Aldi. The lights need modification. No designated right turn. People keep miss judging when the lights are against them. Two ambelances and a fire engine tonight. It's serious and someone is going to get killed

Numerous 5 inc pot holes all along long road from range to college roundabout

9th January

There at least 6 to 7 deep pot holes from 5 _ 7 Inc deep along the length of long road. Starting from the bus stop across from the range all the way down to South Devon College entrance. They are in intervals along the road and get deeper as the closer you get to the College entrance especially the carriageway heading towards the College direction. Some are so deep a motorbike would hit them and crash and a car could cause serious damage or an accident.

Whole road surface badly damaged with numerous potholes

The problem has been getting worse over the last six months. I have complained to the Council and have emailed Meg Booth, Head of Highways, and had no response. It is extremely dangerous, especially if drivers are unprepared to proceed at crawling speed.

Numerous potholes making driving hazardous

These potholes have been worsening over a long period of time between the roundabout at the top of Long Road down to the turn off for South Devon College and Sutton Seeds. The road surface has deteriorated to such an extent that it is difficult to find an appropriate track of road to drive on at anything over about 5mph.

Poor road maintenance

A strech of road more than100 metres in length is not fit for purpose. I have had to have the tracking on my car adjusted regularly as the rough road surface causes excessive tyre wear due to wheel Miss- alignment caused by the road surface.

No right hand filter arrow

12th January

When approaching the crossroads that services Roselands Drive from Brixham along the A3022 there is no right hand filter arrow that should be in place to mitigate the risk when turning right. Simply you are in no mans land. The road since undergoing so called improvements often encourages drivers to drive at speeds in excess of the current speed limit-a simple observation will see this. I have mentioned this before and is only a matter of time that someone turning right mis-judges the speed of on-coming vehicles. In fact Torbay encourages road safety but I see no point of exposing motorists to this risk.
