Speeding vehicles
11th November
Vehicles frequently exceed the 30 mph limit on the residential stretch of Station Road.
This happens all hours of the day and night and is all vehicle types - including HGVs who cause the properties to shake the faster they go.
This behavour has already caused several near misses on the junction of Station Road and Cross Street in recent weeks. With the narrow foot paths on Station Road this also poses a high risk to pedestrians of all ages and to the properties which are very close to the road.

Littering and possibly drink driving
18th December
A red Ford transit van, registration wd14 spu, with 2 occupants, regularly (almost daily, around 10am) parks across the entrance to the disused water board building where they consume cans of larger, some food and cigarettes then dispose of all their rubbish out of their window. There must be 50+ cans behind the fence! These people have been doing this for well over a month. Obviously they are littering the area but also may be over the drink drive limit.
