The surface requires re-surfacing throughout. Spray and chip will not do the job, the potholes are too deep and in places continuous. The surface has become a danger to both drivers and vehicles.

Whole road requires resurfacing
17th November
Road is in horrendous state causing issues for vehicles with potholes but also horse riders as horses are slipping as the road is so worn. My horse fell over as the road was like glass and she damaged both knees and fetlocks. Some other local roads are just as bad - Ponsworthy road towards Dartmeet, and the Shilstone Rocks Road in Widecombe.

A series of unavoidable potholes between Leusdon and Pitchwick Lower Lodge. We were promised that the road would be resurfaced last summer. It wasn't.
14th November
These potholes have been here for almost two years and you were notified more than a year ago. A few were very roughly patched but the problems remain.. Today I had three tyres replaced. Two were worn. The third was quite new but had a cut in the side wall caused by one of these potholes. The cost was 112 for the one tyre. How do I make a claim against you for this?

Potholes in need of urgent repair before winter
26th September
Several large potholes and a few patches where the road has 'broken away' along the road between Luesdon Church and the lane to Blackadon Down. Was told that the whole road was going to be re--surfaced this summer but it was only done in patches at the bottom of the hill at Townwood. There are also a few rough patches at The Glen just above Townwood Farm.
