Excessive noise after midnight
19th January
There appears to be road works near the linhay junction of the A38. The noise has been going on all evening and now after midnight (12.15) we are unable to sleep due to it. Loud machinery and lots of sudden banging noises. Could be trees being chipped. I understand that this should not be going on at this time of night near a residential area. We have young children.

An old caravan has been abandoned in the only passing bay on this narrow single lane track - Pitley Hill Ashburton. Council should be able to pick up who dumped it from CCTV at the junctions off the A38

Deep pot holes at end of drive onto lane.
5th December
These pot holes have been outside our house for months,we live at The Rockery, Caton and also have large pot holes right outside both my neighbours and my driveways which potentially are damaging our cars as they are deep. We live down the lane from Parkers Farm and we are the only two bungalows on this stretch of road. Please can you fix asap.

Two large potholes on the route to ash burton from Denbury
14th January
There are two potholes just on the corner before the Rising Sun pub, one larger than the other but both rather large. My brother drives his moped to Ashburton from Denbury quite a lot and these potholes will cause an accident very soon if they are not filled. My car and any other cars will gain a considerable amount of damage if we went into one of these huge potholes and could cause a collision if we have to swerve. Please sort it out.

Bad repair

I reported a large pothole on Thursday direct on the Devon Highways site. Unable to get on it today! Hole repaired Friday 11th. Filling coming out of the hole today! Keeps being repaired and always a shoddy job. Does anybody know what they are doing?

There are multiple, large potholes in this lane where indicated and further towards the A38. They are mostly along the edge of the carriageway, although some are central. They are becoming very deep and sharp-edged.
