Blocked Culvert
19th November
This is the main drainage from the A38, that flows into the brook. The Culvert has been blocked few a few months now and getting worse. Rain causes the culvert to flood on to the road and staff members have to walk through the water to get to their cars. Please could someone be sent to have a look. we'd be very grateful.

2 dead foxes on right lane
14th June
I would like to report 2 dead foxes on the right hand side lane (overtaking lane) on the A38. I have been driving Plymouth to Exeter bound and there is one fox just before the turning for Trago Mills. Then a few minutes later, there is another fox.
They have both been there all week, and constantly hit again and again, the poor things are in a very bad state. Please can these be removed from the road as soon as possible.

Diversion signs - A38
3rd August
Report from DCC - following the recent works on the A38 and the diversions east and westbound, there are a lot of signs diverting traffic that still remain in the newton abbot area, following completion of the works. This is very confusing for holiday makers; please can these be cleared.

Noise from overnight works
12th July
Very noisy at 2.45 to 3.15am today - disc cutter or similar. Given most people are sleeping at present with windows open and the air is very still so that the noise carries it would seem sensible to target these works early evening or post 5am at earliest.

Condition of wooden fence.
13th April
There's a wooden post and rail fence between the A38 and Liverton/Bickington road that is falling into disrepair.
The section that is most notable for me is the section between the Staplehill Hill Road junction and the Welcome Stranger pub.

Chunk of the concrete fallen off bridge
13th August
A chunk of concrete has come off the bridge going over the A38 (near Blackpool school in Liverton) and has landed on the side of the road on the Exter bound side. I don't know whether the structure of the bridge has been compromised but it will need checking

The road is falling away cracks have got bigger the bushes on the side of the lane have fallen towards the field. The field is a steep slope down from the road

The cracks have increasingly worsened over a couple of months. Concerned the road is going to collapse.

Broken/Loose Man hole cover
19th April
At the junction of Benlears Acres and Benedicts Road the man hole cover has worn thin and it makes a persistent noise each time a car, bus or lorry goes over it. It is irritating to me as the home owner and neighbours.

Overgrown hedge
22nd November
The hedge has been cut recently at both ends of Chapel lane but the middle section opposite Chapel Cottage has been left uncut and overgrown with brambles growing into the lane at eye level. This is the second time in succession that this section has been left uncut. Thank you

Ditch
15th November
The ditch that carries the water away from the road is blocked and the tarmac is breaking away. This was marked with yellow paint to be repaired earlier in the year but nothing was done water is now running all over the road and now that wintwer is on its way will soon become very dangerous
