Number of potholes
12th April
There are a number of potholes along St Marychurch Road from milber to Newton Abbot. These holes have been sprayed up and identified with white paint. Why go to the effort of spraying these holes when a team knowing they are there can fix the problem without the spraying. The holes I am referring to have been sprayed up for over a month now. Meanwhile they are a danger to cyclists and my car suspension. Surely it is common sense to fix these holes rather than to just identify with white spray that they need repairing it is a waste of time and money and the problem not being fixed. Also there are a lot of rutts around Penn inn roundabout that need to be fixed. As far as fixing potholes I know how long it takes for them to be filled surely these can be dealt with as soon as identified. The highways need to act on this problem before the weather affects the surface any further and causes further damage to cars and cyclists.

Massive flytipping

In public lane at rear of 15 Spencer Road, massive and daily growing pile of gas cannisters, wood, furniture, metal, plastics, wire cages. EXTREME HAZARDS AND DANGER TO LIFE DUE TO RISK OF FIRE AND EXPLOSION AS MUCH IS FLAMMABLE AND THERE ARE LARGE GAS CYLANDERS MIXED IN WITH IT. Danger to animal life due to large amounts of wire cage material and netting.

Cant parallel park wont parallel park
1st April
This Tenant does not have the driving ability to parallel park (have watched them try) can Police check they have actually got a licence? Instead EVERY single day they drive along the pavement(illegal under road traffic laws) and dump car on pavement ensuring people cannot get past with children , pushchairs, elderly etc. They also place their recycle bins at front of car to try and stop single people trying to squeeze through small gap.

This van has been parked in front of my house for 3 weeks or more, and in between spaces so makes parking more limited. We know its taxed and insured but nobody has been near it, and it has not been seen in this area before.

White Transit Van constantly leaking oil all over the paths and road .

There is a large white Transit Van which is parking up on the paths at the end of Buckland Road and it's constantly leaking oils all over the paths and road and will be a danger when it rains due to the slippery surfaces.

Very very very anti social behaviour

As reported by others already owners of this car wrongly think that the PUBLIC pavement outside their house is their own private parking bay and refuse to allow pedestrians use of it. They do not even park on the road when there is ample spaces literally 3 metres away on opposite side of the road!!!(see pics) How lazy does a person have to be that they will not walk a couple of metres but would rather force children, families, elderly and all public to walk in the road.

Hazardous waste flytipped

Fridge-freezer dumped, it has been laid down horizontally and there is a danger that a small child could become trapped inside as doors have not been secured and would be impossible to open from the inside. Also these types of white goods are required to be disposed of safely to a recognised legal recycle operator as they are hazardous if just dumped in public.

Yet again residents flytipping at this same location. .Boxes and household stuff dumped on pavement 3 weeks ago and still there today. Fortunately this time they are so dim they have actually left their delivery details on the containers!!!!!

Large fridge/freezer dumped
12th July
Residents of flats in converted house number 30 have dumped a large fridge freezer on roadside. Have moved it onto side but they keep putting it back on kerb. Has been there over a month now even though it has been reported numerous times on direct Teignbridge council website.

OK so there is a tree dangerously leaning over and covered in ivy opposite number 8 mayflower Avenue. This morning I found a large branch had landed onto my van parked outside my house. This tree has been dropping braces for the past year. I have already tried to contact the council directly but have had no response

Car consistantly parking in service lane blocking emergency access for all

Occupants of no.10 Albion Road Newton Abbot consistently park their car in the service lane between Albion hill and Mount Pleasant road Newton Abbot. Has been asked nicely to stop doing it as it blocks rear access parking for care workers at no.2 Albion Hill, but gets verbally aggressive. Can someone please sort this out, thankyou
